When you visit this Boston Pizza please write "Oshawa Skating Club" on the back of your receipt and deposit it in the sports box at the hostess desk. 10% of all receipts go to the OSC.
World's Finest Chocolate Covered Almonds. $2.00 per box (Pizza Hut coupon on every box) at the CanSkate table on Sundays and Thursdays.
TMT Recyclers
Help the Oshawa Skating Club raise money while going green with recycling.
TMT Metal Recyclers will accept recyclables from members of the Oshawa Skating Club. Recyclables can be brought in anything (bag, box, trailer).
The following are some items that can be submitted:
• Pop cans (TMT will add on a few more cents/pound for pop cans).
• Regular steel such as soup cans (which do not need the wrappers taken off), fridges, stoves, BBQ’s, swing sets, etc will be accepted.
• Aluminum, clean copper, stainless is worth more. Car, lawnmower batteries.
Prices vary each month (paid per pound). Hint: "Precious Metals" such as copper, stainless, aluminum, and lead can be determined by if a magnet doesn’t stick. Precious metal is worth more.
Please separate the different materials (e.g copper, pop cans, steel cans, etc.) before dropping them off to receive the best price.
When items are dropped off they will issue a receipt with the amount, Oshawa Skating Club and the name of who brought it in. Give these receipts to an OSC executive member. They will be accumulated and be submitted to TMT for collection.
