COVID-19 Safety Protocols

What we need to do:

  1. All participants are required to follow Public Health Ontario, Skate Ontario and specific Oshawa facilities access protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. All skaters must acknowledge and digitally sign the Return to Play Waiver in order to skate with our Club and be allowed entry to the ice rink. You will be asked for this during registration.
  3. Follow Facility protocols listed below. Full details posted on the City of Oshawa website.

Effective March 21, 2022

With the Province of Ontario taking additional steps to ease public health measures, the City of Oshawa recreation facilities protocols will be as follows:

  • Visitors are asked to adhere to signage and self-screen prior to entering City facilities
    • Proof of vaccination is no longer required 
  • Masking is optional with health and safety protocols strongly recommended. Please be kind!
    • However, anyone returning from travel abroad, must mask when out in public for 14 days.
  • For access to changerooms, please do not arrive more than 30 minutes in advance of your skating session.
  • Also note that capacity limits have been lifted in all indoor public settings
