Volunteer With Us
As a non profit organization, volunteers are the heart and soul of the club. Our skaters all benefit from the time and expertise that is so generously given behind the scenes to make their experience on and off the ice a good one.

Skating Competitions
We can always use the help, whether it's just an hour of time for a specific event or a donation in support of our fundraising.

Become a Program Assistant
Our Figure Skaters (age 10 and up) have the opportunity to support their club by volunteering to help support our beginner skaters during our learn to skate programs.
This program provides valuable experience to our skaters, as well as the ability to earn credit towards their club fees or community hours for those attending high school.
Program Assistants can also be members of the community i.e. family members that know how to skate. (Adults that are interested in helping out will need to provide a vulnerable sector background check).

PA Training Session
For all skaters/volunteers wanting to be a Program Assistant, please sign up for the Program Assistant Training session (normally held at the end of September). This way we can register you with Skate Canada, and your email can be added to our mailing list.
If you register and are not a member of the Oshawa Skating Club, email the treasurer@oshawaskating.com to adjust the club fees on your account.
